Parabolic Trough Collectors.

Soliterm PTC Systems use curved mirrors to focus the suns energy onto a receiver tube that runs down the centre of the trough. The water inside is heated up to 180 °C and directed to supply heat to the desired process, based on the demand, which could for instance be process cooling, warm water, air conditioning or steam at an industrial facility.

„Soliterm Group has established an own quality and environmental management system for the production of the parabolic trough collectors that use the natural resource of the sun, in order to provide sustainable and clean energy to our clients.“

Key Features

Parabolic Mirrors

Lightweight aluminium construct with a weight of 13kg/m² allows facade and rooftop. We achieve outputs of 500-700 kWh/m2 depending on the boundary conditions.

Tracking System

Based on high quality standards of the industry and with a precision of 0.01°, enabling the sleeping position of the collectors system which servers as prevention from certain climate conditions.

Capacity

Capacity is very flexible from 50kW –100MW capacity in only restricted by available installation area; implementation into existing energy system and system extension are possible and common.

Online Monitoring

The energy consumption is monitored and optimized through our online SCADA system, energy costs and emission are reduced drastically.

Which output does your process require?

We offer clients from various industries such as the food, beverage, textile and other leading industries, based on their demand, different outputs ranging from process cooling, steam, heating, cooling to electricity generation, as well as sea water desalination.

Soliterm Group has built the world’s first and unique automatic Parabolic Trough collector (PTC) production line in Ankara, Turkey.

Production Line

The production line is fully automated and has six stations, beginning with the welding station and ending with the packaging and the end use product station.

The fully automated robotic production line uses elements of Artificial Intelligence to manufacture the collectors in the most efficient way. Our production line is able to produce 40,000 Collectors per year with a total thermal capacity of up to 250 MW. The factory automation allows for continuous production of parabolic trough collectors at a consistent high quality.

As the production process is highly automated, it is very efficient and effective ensuring high precision and continuous quality.
